Our new website is live

Bubblotics has a website.

Until now, everything the team did lived in a shared drive, a group chat, and whatever anyone happened to post to Instagram that week. None of that survives a season change. Members graduate, phones get replaced, and the reasoning behind a design decision disappears with the person who made it.

This site is where that stops.

What is here

Robots. Every competition robot gets its own page, with the design decisions behind it, the subsystems that worked, and the ones that did not. The current season’s page will carry an interactive CAD viewer so you can rotate the actual assembly rather than squint at a photo.

Awards. The full competition record, season by season. Every event we attended, including the ones where we came home empty-handed.

Outreach. The demos, school visits, and mentorship the team runs outside of competition.

Updates. This feed. Build progress through the season, recaps after each competition, and the occasional write-up of something that broke in an interesting way.

The sponsors page sets out what a season actually costs and what we can offer in return. If your organisation is weighing it up, email us and we will bring the robot to you.

For future team members

Everything on this site is a set of text files in a public repository. Adding a post means adding one file. The README explains the whole process, and it was written on the assumption that you have never touched a website before.

Keep it updated. The version of this team three years from now will be glad you did.
